My Commitment to Gentle and Safe Heart Surgery (MICS CABG)
I have performed MICS CABG (Minimally Invasive Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting) for many years, both in Japan and abroad. Through this experience, I have had the privilege of helping many patients with heart disease regain their health and peace of mind.
I am now working as Head of MICS CABG at Tokyo D Tower Hospital, where I personally perform each surgery. My mission is to deliver heart surgery that is not only safe and effective, but also as gentle on the body as possible.
What is MICS CABG?
Traditional coronary artery bypass surgery usually requires a large incision down the middle of the chest, cutting through the breastbone (sternotomy).
In contrast, MICS CABG is performed through a small incision on the left side of the chest without cutting the breastbone.
This less invasive approach offers patients:
- Less stress and trauma to the body
- Faster recovery and return to daily life
- Smaller, less visible scars
A Promise to My Patients
At Tokyo D Tower Hospital, I personally perform every MICS CABG operation. I bring the full extent of my international experience to each case, treating every patient with the same care and dedication as if they were a member of my own family. Safety, precision, and compassion are always my highest priorities.
Final Thoughts
Choosing heart surgery is never easy. My goal is to give every patient the reassurance that they are in safe hands, and that their treatment will be carried out with the utmost respect for their health, dignity, and comfort.
